Project 1: Experiencing, documenting and analysing the Construction Process
This project is integrated with our Architecture Studio 2 | Project 2B, Retreat House.
The project intends for us to utilize the knowledge obtained in our previous project and demonstrate the appropriate application of a construction method suiting to the design of our Retreat House and also in relationship to the site context. The project has helped me in creating an awareness to basic construction consideration when designing and demonstrating it by means of manual sketches, drawings and detailing of the construction.

Construction Detail and Specification
In the first part of this module, we are introduced to the opportunity of learning and understanding the basic principles and practices of construction and the technology behind it in relation to the various stages of construction that consists of preliminary, sub-structure and super structure works.
The project gives us the opportunity of experiential learning by allowing us to visit real-life construction projects, to understand the construction sequence and coordination as well as the how the construction method respond to the site context. After that, we are to document our experience and required to demonstrate our understanding and knowledge collected in the form of documentation and manual sketches and drawings.
