This module aims to help students in developing and creating designs which are sustainable by creating acceptable indoor thermal conditions thus minimizing the use of space heating and cooling. It also introduces the students to guidelines such as MS1525 in order to familiarize them when designing sustainable buildings 

Project 1: Case Study & Analyzing Passive Design Strategies

In this project, we are give a specific building to analyze and study it's overall thermal comfort, solar radiation and natural ventilation. In groups of 6, we are tasked to discuss and come up with design strategies to the roofing system that would result in improvements to the thermal comfort briniging it to a much more acceptable and comfortable level
