This projects, In groups of 5, we are to conduct a site visit to document the urban and cultural facets of the city in relation to architecture and the built environment and to analyze and interpret the urban and cultural facets of the city in relation to architecture and the built environment.
Project 1: Research Poster (Capturing, Experiencing and Analyzing the Place)
Re-presenting Place is an elective module which aims to examine and explore the urban landscape through the act of research and exhibition. It emphasizes on the processes of experiencing, capturing, interpreting and re-presenting interesting places within the built environment into three dimensional works.

The aim of project is to interpret and translate your research into a visual representation and concept. In the previous Project and exercises, you were asked to plan, document and analyse data; in this project, you are required to extract an abstracted design or form that will represent the qualities and your perception about the place & theme. After the abstracted concept is finalize thru series of exploration, you are then required to translate and represent it into a form (a 3D wall artwork).
